Learn to reduce stress and worry and live more fully in the present. This 90-minute session will introduce you to meditation in a fun, welcoming environment where all are beginners. If you are curious about meditation, this is a great way to try it without committing to a longer course. You’ll discover how to kickstart your personal meditation practice and enhance your well-being. This session is also the first step towards more in-depth programs offered by Atlanta Mindfulness Institute.
This engaging session will introduce you to mindfulness and the neuroscience behind it. You’ll learn that mindfulness is not a religion but rather a practice of being aware and living fully in the present. You’ll also discover that mindfulness and meditation offer a range of physical and mental health benefits. If you enjoy the experience, you can move on to a meditation sitting group or enroll in our Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course.
